The one-eyed leading the blind: New Labour scandalous boys play with Bloodmoney

A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM :

Since Gordon left the government to Peter during his August hols, the inevitable conspiracy’s last and most tragic act took place.

A Greek tragedy of a deal, only,  in so far, the last and fate sealing decisive act, took place in the Greek island of Corfu. The dirty triangle labour boys, did it again. Tony , Gordon and Peter strike three. They should be put away for Life, if for nothing else that that they are the original gang that couldn’t  shoot straight.

Nor could they make a straight deal…

But you say, this surely must have been a straight oil for arms and money, deal. How could they mess it up so much?

Well… Leave it to the boys. You know the three have to cut the pie, sorry the deal. Yes admittedly it was a straight simple deal. But they know how to complicate things…

It was also a simple deal by some culture’s codes. Both the Scottish highlanders and the Bedhuin people of the Sahar have the Bloodmoney ethic. In exchange for  an amount of money acceptable to the family of the victim a restitution is negotiated, truce is made between the families, the money paid and the killer goes free… In many ways it saves resources and is a wisdom gained over centuries of acrimonious justice and recognition of money for peace.

Or it could be a simple Oil for ”compassion” deal. A dirty and oily deal that smudged all those involved but most of all the victims and their families. Yes the families accepted handsome payments and negotiated with the Libyans for more a few years back. Nowhere though, they thought that the killer goes free. It was part of modern justice. Reparations and punishment for the dirty deed. A terrible deed indeed when you consider 270 lives of innocents with children, just to boost a Dictator’s ego. Do not kid yourselves, Lockerbie was Kaddafi’s ego boosting exercise. So there was never a deal that the people approved to let the only convicted killer go free. So who screwed this up?

Look no further than Tony Blair’s deal two years ago in the dessert. He signed the Prisoner transfer agreement, PTA with Kaddafi, specifically paving the way for BP and Shell to develop and operate Libyan oil and gas fields. Look for oil and deals and Blair with his new found faith is not far behind.  The architect of the Iraq war fake intelligence that led to the tragedy trilogy is still up to his high jinks. Brown and Mandelson are the accidental beneficiaries and co-conspirators of these policies as is the oil industry and the arms dealers. Oil for arms is the major component of this inscrutable and ”compassionate” deal. An oily smudge and a warrant for the environment and the people of Libya.  In a replay of the Saddam Hussein arms for oil deals perpetuated by the British and American governments in the 80′s and noughties, the Kaddhafi deal is a bloody shame. Colonel, Kaddhafi inprisons the whole of Libya in a net of oppression and dictatorial fix. No amount of makeup or lip gloss can sweeten this pig. Maybe He is a close friend of Blair or Sarah-drill baby drill-Palin and the oil industry, but all the rouge on the lips of this pit bull will not atone for his murders inside and outside Libya.  Or maybe we underestimate the long range of British stealth and we are just giving the rope to the good colonel to hang himself when we arm him. He is bound to use these weapons against someone. Probably against his own people and neighbours. In this long term scenario, stealth Diplomacy/Conspirasy in the most far reaching Neo-Con policy wet dream; the new labour boys prepare the stage for another African war of people’s liberation in Tripoly and the bay of Benghaz in about a decade’s time….

But how did this conspiracy unfold? And where did it take place?

Not in Scotland or Tripoli, not even in London the world’s acknowledged capital supreme, of conspiracy theory and practice. Some expert and long ”retired” to civil practice, practitioners, even call it Diplomacy by stealth and a wink, during their teatime relish in the supper club…  No, not by a long shot this mega conspiracy, did it even transpire in London but of all places in a little idyllic cove in NE Corfu. A place better known for Albanians smuggling tax free cigarettes to their Italian contacts and designer drugs to their Greek counterparts and English club managers and Brit-fashion model mules. It’s a small quiet area with large hectare houses and many secret coves to be lost into. It is also frequented by the yachtsmen, from Russia with big boats and commeasurate egos but little cash. Lots of ”flash” these days from the Russians but not much ”cash”, as their dwindling fortunes are impounded by the Kremlin; so they come here to ”refuel” from their new paymasters…

This deal making mecca is a part of Corfu called Kensington East by the many wealthy Brit expats holidaying there.  And is aptly named not just because of the wealth but by the number and size of the unofficial embassies dotting the landscape. Most European nationalities and interests as well as Americans are represented here. But also are Arabs and Russians and surprisingly the Chinese… along with their Albanians and Italian media and mafia titans and friends of Sylvio. Only the Greeks are exempt from there – the coast guard having long ago given up and made peace with the smugglers and privateers.  Cigarette boats ply the waters like the wallys of the smugglers; and all  pirate looking men without the eye-patch. Sort of reminding us of the one eyed pirate (sans eye patch),  puppet stringing and micromanaging, behind the scenes of this most Scottish drama. Ostensibly on vacation practicing the art of plausible deniability.

Here is then, where  the saga of the much maligned but deep down, honestly good, Peter Mandelson sets. He is earnest in saving Gordon Brown and sets out to do so in his unique style. For in an honest exchange of arms and influence for oil and gas, old trusty Gordon, the one eyed genius, set to deal for his country and self interest; justly fearing his days in office are numbered…  Feather your nest and provide for retirement by securing the country’s energy supplies in fluorocarbons must be an admirable pursuit for someone ostensibly in plausible deniability holidays.

So the baton passes to erstwhile saviour of Gordon Brown and all of the New Labour government and supreme powers extraordinaire, emergency ambulance boy, Peter Mandelson, to fish the snake out of the hole.  There is a Gadhafi boy involved in this triangle too. He so happens to be in Corfu at the same house, and the same time, the snake fishing expedition is going on…

And is right then in the middle of a burning August that the Gordon besotted homeboys of the Scottish government release in an act of supreme Catholic piety, and humane compassion, and swift administration of justice, in the dark hours and in the midst of summer bank holidays. The Scottish Justice and influence minister and the Scottish parliamentarians, in their infinite wisdom, all conspire to release the only convicted Lockerbie airline hijacker bomber.  And the killer-man called Megrahi served less than one week for each victims life. What a stink this deal raises. A stink reaching to high heaven from this crock of shit.

Of course Peter Mandelson couldn’t be far away from this scandal. He had to spit seal the deal in a macho handshake with Kaddafi’s son in Corfu inside the house of  a Rotchild banker to make sure the financial transfers are in order and guarantee the administering of the money and the economic security of the deal. Did you say bank holidays?  Real bankers never stop working.

Oil for arms and money is nothing new. Nor is money and oil for arms and compassion. Just the cynics will smirk when they discover that the real beneficiaries of this deal are the arms barons and oilly men of the new labour.  There is the erstwhile Lord and banker in the mix, there too, but it’s small game. It’s the inheritors of the New Left, that are more corrupt than the crock of shit they let out in the midday sun this August, to travel by jet to Libya and to the  brotherly welcome by the shit monger colonel.

There is always another side of the story to this humorous tale. Libya had admitted the responsibility for the bombing of the airliner over Lockerbie and the 273 people dead. And they paid good Bloodmoney to the victims’ families….

So they expected a return for their investment – This is the Bedhouin way.  For the Bedhu people, the code of justice says that if you pay Bloodmoney the blood feud seizes and the criminal is forgiven and freed. The families of all the victims know that and choose to accept it or not.  So that there was a deal made is not surprising… that the deal was made without the agreement of the Americans that would have been unthinkable.

But Colonel Kadhafi, living in his palatial tent with his harem, has had a Hollywood type makeover of a leader; a makeover, that is envied even by Kerry Katona, has outdone himself. His family’s boys have helped as dutiful sons, to shed light into the New improved Kaddhafi and the new improved Labour’s machinations. They both want  to find employment and useful commercial positioning. The New labour boys after they are booted out of office come May, need a source of funds for children’s boots and Khadhafi needs similarly, a source of funds for his children’s charitable boots.

All is well that ends well.

According to AFP, the world’s first international news Agency, and news provider in France 24, Political media channel:

” ” The Libyan leader Moamer Kadhafi met overnight with Lockerbie bomber Abdelbaset Ali Mohmet al-Megrahi amid mounting Western outrage on Saturday over the hero’s welcome he received upon his return.   Kadhafi’s son Seif al-Islam said Megrahi’s release from a Scottish prison on Thursday was linked to trade deals with Britain, allegations which were swiftly denied by London.

The Libyan leader praised Scottish authorities for their “courage” in releasing Megrahi, who is suffering from terminal prostate cancer, on compassionate grounds.

“At this moment I would like to send a message to our friends in Scotland … and I congratulate them on their courage and for having proved their independence despite the unacceptable and unreasonable pressures they faced,” Kadhafi was quoted as saying by Libya’s official Jana news agency.  Libyan television showed images of Kadhafi receiving and embracing Megrahi late on Friday. ” Megrahi, the only person convicted for the December 1988 bombing of Pan Am Flight 103, which killed 270 people in the air and on the ground in the Scottish town of Lockerbie, was sentenced to life in prison in 2001.   Hundreds of flag-waving well-wishers cheered Megrahi upon his arrival in Tripoli, despite warnings by the United States that a public celebration might damage relations that have been improving since Libya renounced terrorism and its pursuit of weapons of mass destruction in 2003.

US President Barack Obama on Friday called the red-carpet reception Megrahi received “highly objectionable”, while his spokesman Robert Gibbs denounced an “outrageous and disgusting” display.
Seif al-Islam, who travelled to Scotland to accompany Megrahi back to Libya, said his release was linked to trade deals.
”In all commercial contracts, for oil and gas with Britain, (Megrahi) was always on the negotiating table,” Islam said in interview to Libyan TV channel Al Mutawassit taped on the flight back to Tripoli.
”All British interests were linked to the release of Abdelbaset al-Megrahi,” he added.
A spokesman for Prime Minister Gordon Brown’s Downing Street office firmly denied that Megrahi’s release was linked to Britain’s interest in Libya’s oil and gas reserves.
”There is no deal,” a spokesman told AFP.
”The position remains the same as we have been making clear: this has always been a matter for the Scottish executive and ministers,” he added.
A spokesman for the Foreign Office also rejected the allegations.
”No deal has been made between the UK government and Libya in relation to Megrahi and any commercial interests in the country,” a spokesman said.
Foreign Secretary David Miliband on Friday angrily refuted suggestions that the British government wanted Megrahi freed so that commercial relations with oil-rich Libya could be improved.
”I really reject that entirely,” he said. “That is a slur both on myself and the government.”
Speculation that there had been some form of agreement was fuelled by the disclosure that Britain’s Business Secretary Lord Peter Mandelson met Islam during his recent holiday on the Greek island of Corfu.
Kadhafi said Friday that Megrahi’s release “… will surely have positive repercussions on all aspects of cooperation between our two countries.”
Megrahi, who has always maintained his innocence, told The Times newspaper in an interview conducted at his family home in Tripoli that he will present new evidence through his Scottish lawyers that will exonerate him.
”My message to the British and Scottish communities is that I will put out the evidence and ask them to be the jury,” he said, refusing to elaborate.
Britain’s newspapers said Saturday that neither London, Edinburgh, nor Tripoli had emerged with any credit from Megrahi’s release.
The Independent said the London government had been caught off-guard by the negative reaction in the United States, while the Financial Times said the Lockerbie affair was not brought to a close by Megrahi’s release, while the Daily Mail said Britain had been humiliated by Libya.” ”

According to World News: ” ”The son of Colonel Gaddafi today claimed Libya’s original prisoner transfer deal with the UK had targeted the Lockerbie bomber and was directly linked to talks on trade and oil. But, in an interview with The Herald newspaper, Saif al-Islam al-Gaddafi denied it had anything to do with the eventual release last week of Abdelbaset Ali Mohmed al Megrahi. Speaking at his home near Tripoli Saif Gaddafi said the “deal in the desert” more than two years ago – which saw an agreement signed between Tony Blair and colonel Gaddafi for prisoner transfer and oil development trade deals…” ”

According to CNN News: ” ” (CNN) — Former British Prime Minister Tony Blair said Saturday no deals were ever made with Libya while he was in power to arrange the Lockerbie bomber’s release, a move that has caused outrage in the United States.…” ”

And where do the American fit in all of this?  Well yesterday they denied entry to the British son, of one of Lockerbie victims and questioned him at length about Libya and then send him back to London….

Strange dreams these guys must have.

Delve deep into the  …. scandal: It is the New Labour boys that play with people’s lives and even barter the dead. Either these people haven’t met a scandal they didn’t like or this humorous exchange needs a psychiatric overview. Either way we are all in for some surprises come this fall when the extent of these oilly and sticky deals will come to light. A persistent and oilly smudge is what the legacy of this government will be for all concerned.

Then again don’t count on it anymore than the Iraq war inquiry will be anything but white wash.

And the ”Kaddafi release”, will be rued as a truly sad day for the once proud nation of Scotland that has been reduced permanently into making hagis.

Thank the one eyed pirate for this too. He is your son of a …..

God help Brittania…
