Leaderless Greece

We’ve all had many disappointing experience with very many leaders and their poor ability to manage change. Yet the Greek political leaders take the cake. They win the Oscar of lying, stupidity and thievery. And by the way — they viscerally hate change…

There are many reasons for this but the paramount one is unwillingness on their behalf to genuinely change.

Because most leaders have a strong disincentive to change due to their significant investment in the current status quo.

For them it is perceived as just not intelligent behaviour, to truly champion change, regardless of how much rhetoric they squander on the topic.

Because they know which way their toast is buttered. They really want to protect the system that selected them, uplifted them and propelled them forward and thus made them able to enrich themselves at the expense of the people they’ve come to lead and represent.

According to Wikileaks and foreign intelligence all the major Greek politicians of today and their parties are wealthy beyond compare with heads of parties and major ex ministers having hundreds of millions of Euros in on demand deposits in foreign banks alone. Never mind the level of corruption of their staffs, their junior ministers and the average representatives. Thieves dogs and whores reside in the Greek parliament is what the long term indignant protesters outside of the parliament call the Greek politicians of the day…

They know something. As for their thievery — the Wikileaks confirms it too.

And for the politicians’ unwillingness to change — the case of the current PM is proof positive. Because Papandreou has been only too happy to dig his heels and support the corruption of the present and near past, that even when his No 2 admitted to stealing and eating it all, the PM did nothing. Not a peep came out of his mouth and not a single man has been convicted of corruption yet, or sent off to trial after he and his ilk damaged the country beyond compare.

When this current crop of idiots came to power after the New Democracy gang looted the country and fabricated the budgets they submitted to EU commission in order to hide the level of their malfeasance, the incoming idiots kept the same story up saying we have enough money and wealth to weather the economic storm…

And their stupidity is such that they kept up the story even when they were secretly negotiating a quick loan to cover the public employee pay scale from month to month. Even then, they had their eye out to steal a bit from the top for their party coffers and their Swiss bank accounts. But in this dismal time, finally the Greek people have woken up.

And they have concluded that their politicians — liars and cheats — don’t  make for a very good government. And certainly they can’t bring about any good change either.  Because truly, change in Greece cannot be brought about by the current crop of corrupt leaders, except in those situations in which the changes advocated, do not disturb the status quo and their present client relationships. In fact, it is these very same Greek political leaders who are the most bitter and the most effective foes of change. They stymie change at every turn, even when this is demanded by the present slate of very difficult problems.

The public, therefore, must take the initiative and assume responsibility for progress in the affairs of Greece and their independence, because the current leaders of graft, sold the Greek people down the river for their own personal gain. Therefore the public must now revolt and force change upon its politicians and nominal leaders who command more respect today than they actually deserve…

Take for example the current PM, who is also the leader of his party, Papandreou and who is an expert in his small world as it presently exists, but he is si disconnected from the world at large that even when important cases of corruption come to him and stare him in the face he chooses to do nothing. Apparently he benefits from the official corruption by receiving his own ”cut” from the immense state graft machine.

And the same goes for all the current politicians. They are experts in fleecing the people and the system. But sadly they have no dreams of change. They have only nightmares and black dreams for the Greek people because they are experts in killing their dreams.  They are experts at keeping the entrepreneurial Greek people in a constant state of underdevelopment and needfulness of foreign masters. No conspiracy here — just look at the servile behaviour of the current PM begging around the globe from traditional enemies and foes of Greek independence.

These are not experts in anything but being losers. And certainly they are not experts in the dreams of the Greek people for a world as it might be. A worl that can be manifest anew…

And although the PM plays an important role in modern society today, it is not realistic to expect him to either honestly advocate genuine change or advance anybody’s dreams but his own vast depressing nightmares. Because he knows that change is the surest way for him to lose his status. And he loves his servile status… A beggar with a tie and suit in a white shirt is a beggar nonetheless. And a corrupt beggar is a really sorry site too…

Go ahead — Write him off and all his ilk. As a matter of fact please write off all the current Greek politicians and find new men and women of consciousness to represent you.

The hope of the future rests with the Greek citizen. To be effective, the citizen must be well informed, and he must discover ways of making better use of his own great capacities and those of his fellow man. He cannot expect his leaders to give him much help in his upward march. As a matter of fact he should expect that they will oppose him vehemently – for they value their thieving role and are loath to get a real job.  Maybe their lack of skills makes them unable to work honestly?

Therefore genuine change is more likely to come from the bottom-up than to be led from the top-down.

Even a brief glance at Greece’s current history supports this assesment.

Yet who represents this change potential?

For it is well known in leadership circles that Change in Greece is imminent.

Change is coming to Greece and the old politicians are shaking in their boots knowing that the people hate them even more than they hate their neighbours the Turks. And that says a lot, because the Turks were the descendants of the Ottomans who had enslaved and defiled the Greek people for four hundred years…

Yet now the Greek political party leaders and politicians in general are more hated by the Greek people. They are also afraid and are not showing up amongst their constituencies because they are often stoned by the people with missiles of eggs and yoghurt if not worse. So they are completely cut off from the people they are supposedly representing — and even worse because they see them as the enemy too.

Not a workable relationship – this makes.

And with elections in a few months time and even as early as beginning of next year, this leadership void needs to be filled urgently.

Yours,

Pano

PS:

The revolutionaries in Constitution square across the Parliament represent the only hope of Greece moving forward.

Maybe they will wake up enough to the civics lesson and decide to win the Parliament by engaging in democratic procedures themselves.

Being simply indignant without a plan for change is daft. And these people are anything but…

So let them create a new party and a new political leverage to ”storm the parliament” and win rightly the seat at the helm of CHANGE that proud GREECE so dearly needs right about now.

Let the young sons and daughters of Greec now come to her rescue.

Enough said already.
